Millonarios near playoff zone

Liga Postobon - Round 14

The big movers in round 14 of the Colombian football league were Millonarios who defeated bottom-of-the-table Envigado 2-1 on Saturday night. That victory pulls them well away from the drop zone and into serious contention for a place in the colombian football league playoffs. Millonarios play Atletico Nacional this Wednesday in a game postponed from round 2. Should they manage to defeat Nacional they would move into the top 8 playoff position for the first time this season. It will be no easy task though as Atletico Nacional again won at the weekend and currently sit in 6th place, more or less assured of a playoff spot.
