Millonarios leave it late to secure 3 points and distance themselves from the relegation zone

A relatively quiet weekend in the Colombian Football League saw America de Cali and Millonarios edge away from the drop zone courtesy of wins over Atletico Nacional and Cortulua respectively.

It appeared as though Millonarios would once again be held to a draw until on 89 minutes a terrific goal by Yovanny Arrechea from a tight angle continued Millonarios' faint hopes of reaching the playoffs.

Elsewhere in Round 12 of the Colombian Football League, Atletico Junior slipped away from the top 8 playoff places following a 1-0 defeat away to Boyaca Chico.
